The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers make a difference in people's lives. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods we are able to provide the financial support to assist men and women with a variety of social and spiritual afflictions.

The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every man or woman being provided a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. All our effort is focused on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. More than just a job, each member of the team contributes to recycling goods that literally recycle and repair broken lives.

The Adult Rehabilitation Center Command Headquarters is seeking a Program Specialist to support the program office by performing a variety of administrative and program management duties.

Duties:

They will take an active role in planning for Annual Support Visits, retreats/councils and other special events, attending as requested.
They will handle communication, manage calendars, direct phone calls, and send meeting invitations for the department, as well as prepare a monthly newsletter.
They will also prepare materials for Annual Command Review and assist with logistics for conferences and meetings.
The Program Specialist will be responsible for the Beneficiary Information Tracking System and LITMOS Administration, as well as statistical data collection and reporting.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of office or program experience, strong organizational, attention to detail, and computer skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
