The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers make a difference in people's lives. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods we are able to provide the financial support to assist men and women with a variety of social and spiritual afflictions. 

The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every man or woman being provided a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. All our effort is focused on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. More than just a job, each member of the team contributes to recycling goods that literally recycle and repair broken lives.

The Adult Rehabilitation Center Command Headquarters is seeking a Program Specialist to support the program office by performing a variety of administrative and program management duties.  

Duties:
  • They will take an active role in planning for Annual Support Visits, retreats/councils and other special events, attending as requested.   
  • They will handle communication, manage calendars, direct phone calls, and send meeting invitations for the department, as well as prepare a monthly newsletter.  
  • They will also prepare materials for Annual Command Review and assist with logistics for conferences and meetings. 
  • The Program Specialist will be responsible for the Beneficiary Information Tracking System and LITMOS Administration, as well as statistical data collection and reporting.  
 
Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of office or program experience, strong organizational, attention to detail, and computer skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
